The excitement of the IHSAA boys basketball tournament continued with the semi-state games this Saturday. Teams were eager to secure their spot in the State Finals, set to take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in just two weeks.

In the CLASS 4A category, the Elkhart Semi-State witnessed Fishers triumphing over Crown Point with a score of 48 to 37. Fort Wayne Wayne also showcased their skills, defeating Mishawaka 62 to 47. The championship game was a nail-biter, with Fishers emerging victorious against Fort Wayne Wayne, 69 to 61.
The New Castle Semi-State brought more intense action. Ben Davis dominated Center Grove, winning 75 to 49, while Jeffersonville narrowly beat Lawrence North, 62 to 60. The championship clash was a close call, with Ben Davis edging out Jeffersonville 52 to 51.
Moving on to CLASS 3A, the Logansport Semi-State featured South Bend St. Joseph outplaying Peru with an 88 to 80 victory. The championship game was a marathon, with South Bend St. Joseph winning against Delta in a thrilling triple overtime, 44 to 41.
In the Seymour Semi-State, Guerin Catholic defeated Danville 57 to 52, and Scottsburg won against Evansville Bosse, 58 to 45. Scottsburg then went on to claim the championship by beating Guerin Catholic 70 to 54.
The CLASS 2A Lafayette Jeff Semi-State saw Wapahani defeating North Judson 48 to 28, and Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian winning against Wabash 55 to 51. The championship game was intense, with Wapahani securing the win against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian in overtime, 60 to 49.
At the Southport Semi-State, Brownstown Central narrowly beat Park Tudor 50 to 49, and Parke Heritage triumphed over Forest Park 64 to 54. Brownstown Central then clinched the championship, defeating Parke Heritage 66 to 56.
Lastly, in the CLASS A Michigan City Semi-State, Liberty Christian won against Michigan City Marquette Catholic 50 to 47, and Fort Wayne Canterbury beat Elkhart Christian in overtime, 60 to 51. Fort Wayne Canterbury then went on to win the championship against Liberty Christian, 56 to 53.
The Washington Semi-State saw Bethesda Christian defeating Greenwood Christian 53 to 35, and Barr-Reeve winning against Evansville Christian 54 to 44. Bethesda Christian claimed the championship with a convincing win against Barr-Reeve, 63 to 38.
