North West Shares Insights in Exclusive On-Camera Interview Following Album Announcement

North West, at the tender age of 4, stepped into the limelight with her first interview, away from the camera’s gaze, with Interview magazine. Her journey didn’t stop there; she has shared the stage with her father, Kanye West, on numerous occasions. At Rolling Loud California, North showcased her talent by performing “Talking / Once Again” from Kanye’s album Vultures. She wasn’t alone; her friends and cousin Penelope Disick were right there with her. During her performance, the audience couldn’t help but join in, chanting her rap name, “It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie.”

On March 10, North made an exciting announcement about her musical career. At a release listening party in Phoenix for Kanye, ¥$ and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming album Vultures 2, she shared news of her own album. According to Forbes, she’s been working on an album titled Elementary School Dropout.

North’s ambitions don’t just lie in music. She has her sights set on leading her mom’s SKIMS brand and her dad’s Yeezy label in the future. In a conversation with i-D in November, she revealed her plans to pursue art as a side project. By the age of 13, she aims to start walking dogs to earn money for art supplies, given the high costs of materials. North envisions herself as a rapper, a basketball player, and an artist selling her work.

As we look back, North’s journey has been filled with adorable and memorable moments that have captured the hearts of many over the years.
