At the 55th Annual NAACP Image Awards held on Saturday, March 16, the celebrities shone brightly.
Halle Bailey captured everyone’s attention on the red carpet. She looked breathtaking in a strapless, emerald gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture. The dress boasted a textured top and flowed down in a mermaid style. Bailey, who attended with her boyfriend DDG, styled her hair in long braids that fell down her back.
But Halle Bailey wasn’t the only celebrity who left a mark at the NAACP Image Awards. Keke Palmer turned heads in a striking ensemble. She wore a white tuxedo jacket by Dolce & Gabbana, which stood out against her black pants and matching bowtie. Palmer chose a sleek bun for her hair and added a pop of color with a bright red rose on her lapel. She also accessorized with a prop cane during her walk on the carpet.
Later that night, Palmer took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about her date, her father. She praised him as the nicest man she knows and credited him for her wit and charm, calling him “The legacy … Mr. Palmer.”
