AOC Flustered as Bobulinski Outlines Alleged Biden Misconduct: ‘RICO Is Not A Crime!’ Statement Sparks Controversy

On a tense Wednesday, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic Representative from New York, found herself deeply engaged in a questioning session with Hunter Biden’s former business associate, Tony Bobulinski. This interaction took place during a hearing before the House Oversight Committee.

Tony Bobulinski was there to share his allegations concerning President Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business ventures with a Chinese energy company known as CEFC. He asserted that Joe Biden was aware of these dealings.

During the session, Ocasio-Cortez pressed Bobulinski, asking him directly if he had witnessed Joe Biden committing a crime. Bobulinski started to explain a situation but was quickly asked again by Ocasio-Cortez to confirm if he was testifying to having seen the president commit a crime, to which Bobulinski responded affirmatively.

The congresswoman then inquired about the specific crime witnessed. Bobulinski mentioned several laws including the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and other corruption statutes. However, when he referred to RICO, Ocasio-Cortez clarified that RICO itself is not a crime but a category of crimes.

Amidst this, Ocasio-Cortez expressed her frustration with Republicans for initiating an impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden over a potential scheme of influence peddling. She criticized the inquiry for being based on allegations from an individual previously charged by the FBI for making false statements and creating fictitious records.

She argued that the inquiry should be withdrawn due to its foundation on proven lies, highlighting that the committee had been forewarned about the unreliability of these allegations, even by Trump’s Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo. Yet, the inquiry proceeded.

Ocasio-Cortez contended that the basis of the inquiry was flawed and was moving forward on false charges. Meanwhile, Bobulinski had previously accused the Biden family of attempting to defraud him and claimed that China had managed to infiltrate and compromise the Bidens and the Obama White House. He alleged that the current president facilitated a lucrative deal between his son and a Chinese energy company linked to the Communist Party.

Bobulinski was part of a group that included Hunter Biden, James Biden, and two other businessmen. They formed Oneida Holdings, a shell company, in May 2017 intending to establish a business relationship with CEFC. He stated that the Biden family used their name to advance their business interests aggressively.

In contrast, during a closed-door deposition in February, Hunter Biden denied any involvement of his father in his business activities. He emphasized that his father had never been part of his business dealings, whether as a lawyer, investor, board member, or artist.
