A motorcyclist with a mullet and a license plate that boldly states “WILL RUN” found himself in the midst of a high-speed police chase across various cities in Florida, marking the second occurrence in just a week.
Captivating aerial footage captured on Tuesday reveals a young biker darting dangerously between cars on the highway, ignoring red lights at busy crossroads, and mockingly challenging the police trailing him.
This teenage motorcyclist, known for his distinctive hairstyle, led the authorities on a frantic chase through multiple Florida locales, repeating his actions from the previous week.
Upon his capture, an officer inquired if he found the chase exhilarating. The teenager, now in handcuffs, responded negatively.
The pursuit began when officers attempted to stop 19-year-old Ashtin Jarvis, recognizing his distinctive license plate.
Previously, during the Daytona Beach Bike Week, Jarvis had evaded the police after they noticed his invalid license plate. He managed to escape once again when officers spotted him a few days later.
This time, the chase extended through Port Orange, Daytona Beach, and other nearby cities, as confirmed by officials.
Jarvis pushed the limits, reaching speeds of 145 mph, a feat that even the police helicopter found challenging to match as he entered Daytona Beach.
During the chase, Jarvis daringly circled a patrol car, taunting the officer inside by questioning what would happen if he stopped.
This taunt gave the officer the perfect opportunity to act. Pointing his Taser at Jarvis, the officer managed to get him to dismount his motorcycle.
In a moment of confrontation, after being asked if he enjoyed the chase, another officer inquired if they had managed to note Jarvis’ license plate.
An officer commended the team for their effectiveness on motorcycles, following the successful apprehension.
Jarvis later confessed to purchasing the counterfeit license plate after finding it amusing online.
He faced arrest under several charges, including high-speed fleeing, reckless driving, possession of a counterfeit license plate, and other traffic-related offenses.
