In the bustling city of Chicago, a special feline has captured the hearts of many at PAWS Chicago. Meet Ophelia, a stunning 5-year-old cat with snow-white fur, who is currently the Pet of the Week and looking for a forever home.
Ophelia’s journey to PAWS Chicago was marked by adversity. She arrived with a tail pull injury, the origins of which remain a mystery. It could have been the result of a car accident or her tail getting trapped. Unfortunately, this injury paralyzed her tail and left her incontinent.
Despite her challenges, Ophelia’s spirit remains unbroken. She is a bundle of love, eagerly offering nuzzles and purrs in exchange for a bit of extra care. This sweet girl requires a diaper, which needs checking every three to four hours. Yet, those who have had the pleasure of caring for her agree that she is among the most affectionate cats they’ve ever encountered.
