2024 Big Ten Tournament: Live Bracket Updates, Schedule, Scores, and NCAA Bracketology Insights

After an eventful day of quarterfinals in Minneapolis on Friday, the stage is set for the Big Ten Tournament semifinals on Saturday. The day kicked off with Michigan State, the No. 8 seed, giving a tough fight to Purdue, the top seed, before succumbing to a 67-62 defeat. This victory marked the beginning of Purdue’s quest for postseason glory with a solid win. In the second game of the day, Wisconsin, the No. 5 seed, secured its first back-to-back victories since January by overcoming Northwestern, the No. 4 seed, with a score of 70-61. These results lead to a semifinal face-off between Wisconsin and Purdue, with Purdue having won both their regular-season encounters.

The action continued into the evening with Illinois, the No. 2 seed, narrowly escaping a strong challenge from Ohio State, the No. 10 seed, with a 77-74 victory. This win sets Illinois up for a semifinal battle against Nebraska, the No. 3 seed. Nebraska had earlier dominated Indiana, the No. 6 seed, with a convincing 93-66 win, thanks to standout performances from Brice Williams and Keisei Tominaga. Nebraska now has the opportunity to seek revenge for their 87-84 overtime defeat to Illinois on February 4th.

The Big Ten Tournament champion will be crowned on Sunday, with the final game leading into the Selection Show on CBS. We’re keeping an eye on all the developments here.
