A man took his service duck to a Buc-ee’s store in Tennessee and ended up being banned from the chain. He shared this experience in a YouTube video. Justin Wood and his service duck, Wrinkle, visited the store, drawing attention and curiosity from other shoppers. Wrinkle, who spent most of the time in a stroller, occasionally popped out to greet people with her beak.

Wood uploaded the video on his YouTube channel “SeDUCKtive,” which is popular for documenting his travels with Wrinkle. The channel boasts 2.7 million subscribers, and this particular video had garnered nearly 170,000 views by Saturday evening.

Upon entering the store, an employee informed Wood that only service dogs were allowed. Wood clarified that Wrinkle was a service duck. They continued shopping until another employee reiterated the store’s no-pets policy. Wood argued that Wrinkle was a service animal and offered to provide identification. A third employee then approached them, stating the store’s policy against pets, including service animals that could not be contained. Wood questioned if putting Wrinkle on a leash would suffice, and after being told it was acceptable, he humorously pretended to leash Wrinkle, who continued to accompany him around the store.

As Wood was making his purchases, he was alerted that police were waiting outside. A police officer informed him that he was banned from all Buc-ee’s locations and would face trespassing charges if he returned. The officer clarified that the decision was not his. Wood, undeterred, expressed his love for Buc-ee’s in the video but acknowledged the situation with a shrug, noting that Wrinkle only brought joy to those inside the store.

Wood concluded the video philosophically, stating that an adventure isn’t complete without some mishaps, and that challenges often precede good times. Buc-ee’s pet policy allows for service animals and police work animals, highlighting the importance of service animals for people with disabilities. Fox News Digital has reached out to both Buc-ee’s and Wood for comments on the incident.
