In a heartening turn of events, the AMBER Alert activated on Monday morning for a young mother and her toddler has been successfully resolved. The individuals in question, 17-year-old Maoly Herrera Toscano and her 1-year-old daughter, Sara Herrera, were located unharmed in the vicinity of Akron.
The alert was initially disseminated by the West Chester Police Department, urgently seeking the whereabouts of the mother-daughter duo. Their concern was heightened by the belief that the pair was accompanied by 22-year-old Bayron Tejeda, identified as the child’s father. This situation was particularly alarming due to Tejeda’s alleged history of severe domestic violence, as reported by West Chester Township authorities.
