Maximizing My Earnings: How I Achieved Financial Success

Cardi B has always focused on making money, even before her hit single “Money” came out in 2018.

The artist from the Bronx had a conversation with Complex’s Speedy Morman. During their talk, Morman brought up the rumors about Cardi’s net worth being around $80 million. Cardi thinks she’s moved past that figure now, as she’s entered a higher income bracket at the age of 31.

“I believe I’ve surpassed the $80 million mark,” she confessed. “I earn a significant amount of money. A lot, a lot, a lot.”

Cardi B also emphasized that her earnings don’t just benefit her. She supports many friends and family members financially.

“But I have many, many bills,” she continued. “I look after my family. I assist them a great deal. I won’t say I’m solely responsible, but I do help my friends and family a lot.”

The “WAP” rapper shared how challenging it is to deny her family’s requests, especially when she indulges in luxury items and designer clothes.

“It’s hard to say no when I’m purchasing expensive items like Birkins,” she admitted. “I don’t appreciate feeling like I’m being taken advantage of… I remember my days of struggle, I wasn’t spending frivolously. Even during my time as a stripper, when I faced financial hardships, I wasn’t splurging on luxury goods.”

Looking ahead to 2024, Cardi is focused on continuing to make music and is excited about her much-anticipated second album. She’s already released a couple of singles this year, “Like What (Freestyle)” and “Enough (Miami),” both of which have made an impact on the charts.

“After taking a short break and returning to social media, I dropped a freestyle just to get back into it. A week later, I released a single. The next announcement won’t be about another single; it’ll be about my album,” she shared with Billboard Canada. “I’m ready to be active again. I’m tired of being held back. It’s been six years since my last album, so I’m definitely releasing one this year.”
