Travis Kelce, the NFL star with roots in Cleveland, Ohio, has been making the most of his offseason by indulging in travel and good eats. Fresh from a Bahamas getaway with pop sensation Taylor Swift, Kelce made a nostalgic stop at a beloved pizza joint in his hometown.
On a recent Saturday, March 23, Kelce was spotted at Geraci’s Slice Shop, a downtown favorite located at 603 Prospect Avenue E. The pizza shop shared a snapshot on its Instagram, capturing the Kansas City Chiefs tight end next to a vintage payphone, a nod to the shop’s timeless charm.
During his visit, Kelce kept things casual and under the radar, donning a hoodie, a backward baseball cap, and sunglasses. While Taylor Swift hasn’t yet made a trip to Cleveland with Kelce, fans are buzzing about the possibility of her joining him in the future.
Chelsea Williams, Geraci’s Slice Shop’s operating partner, was on duty when Kelce dropped by. She seized the opportunity to snap a photo with the NFL star, who was there to pick up a takeout order. Williams commended Kelce for his kindness and courtesy during his brief visit.
Williams remarked, “Seeing Travis Kelce in Cleveland is a special treat, whether you’re a fan of the city, football, or even Taylor Swift these days. But as a Cleveland native, it’s no surprise to see him around – he could show up anywhere.”
Kelce has previously expressed his fondness for Geraci’s, particularly praising its original University Heights location on the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother and fellow NFL player, Jason Kelce. The brothers, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, share a deep connection to their hometown.
