In a spontaneous moment, Short began singing “Old Friends” from the musical, and Streep, along with the cast, joined in for an impromptu rendition. Brown shared her excitement on her Instagram Story, mentioning how honored she felt to perform for Streep and Short and highlighting the kind words they shared about the show.
This Broadway visit comes shortly after the pair were seen leaving a dinner together, sparking further speculation about their relationship. They had dined with friends at the fashionable Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, California, last month.
