Chicago Veterinarian and Dog Show Judge Arrested on Child Pornography Charges, Allegations of Pedophilic Behavior Emerge

Adam Stafford King, a 39-year-old veterinarian from the Chicago area and a judge on the national dog show circuit, has been arrested and faces charges related to child pornography.

The arrest came to light on Monday when a criminal complaint was disclosed, revealing that the FBI apprehended King just as he was about to depart for California. There, a surrogate mother was expected to give birth to a boy whom King and his husband intended to adopt.

Documents indicate that King had been sending multiple child pornography videos to an individual under FBI surveillance. Even after the FBI arrested this individual and assumed control of their account, King continued to engage in conversations.

In his communications with what he believed was the same person but were actually federal agents, King disclosed a sexual attraction to children aged “0-9” of both genders. He boasted about having previously drugged and molested his niece and nephew, stating he typically used Benadryl because of its “wide safety margin” and ease of use, noting it usually takes “30-45 min” and he often doubled the adult dosage.

Prosecutors also highlighted chat messages where King expressed a wish to have a friend join him in committing rape against his son, describing his husband as “a non perv.”

“I do love the idea of inviting a buddy over when I have my boy… just has to be someone I can trust obviously,” King is reported to have written.

Upon his arrest, FBI agents found King in the shower with his iPhone, despite having made several verbal announcements of their presence in the home.

In light of these allegations, prosecutors have requested that King be detained without bond. However, his attorney has proposed that King be released on bond, suggesting he could reside alone in his family home without internet access or any contact with individuals under the age of 18 while the case is pending.
