Trump Partners with Lee Greenwood to Offer Exclusive $60 ‘God Bless the U.S.A.’ Bibles

In a recent move that has caught the attention of many, former President Donald Trump, alongside country music icon Lee Greenwood, known for his patriotic anthem “God Bless the U.S.A.,” has launched an exclusive line of high-end Bibles. This collaboration was announced on a Tuesday, with Trump taking to Truth Social to share the news of this unique venture.

Trump, in his announcement, emphasized the importance of having a Bible in every American household, stating, “All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book. It’s a lot of people’s favorite book.” He further expressed his belief in the necessity of reintroducing religion and Christianity to the nation, attributing the absence of these elements as a primary reason for the country’s current turmoil. “Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back,” Trump said. “It’s one of the biggest problems we have, that’s why our country’s going haywire, we’ve lost religion in our country.”

Despite the Bible being the most widely sold book globally, with numerous churches and websites offering it for free, the “God Bless the U.S.A. Bible” is priced at $59.99, excluding shipping and other fees. This special edition Bible, a King James translation, is not just any ordinary Bible. It comes with added features, including a copy of the handwritten chorus to Lee Greenwood’s famous song, as well as the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. The website proudly states that this is the only Bible endorsed by Trump or Greenwood and is inspired by America’s most recognized patriotic anthem.

The Bible also features a large print format with the words of Jesus highlighted in red, adding to its unique appeal. However, the financial details of Trump and Greenwood’s earnings from this venture were not disclosed.

This partnership emerges at a critical time for Trump’s financial landscape. The former president has recently witnessed a significant increase in his net worth following a successful merger that led his media company to be publicly traded on the NASDAQ. Despite this financial boon, Trump faces the challenge of securing $175 million for an appeal bond to prevent the enforcement of a $454 million civil fraud judgment against him by the state of New York. Additionally, Trump is contending with other substantial civil judgments, including a federal jury verdict that ordered him to pay $83.3 million for defaming writer E. Jean Carroll.

Amid these financial and legal battles, Trump’s political fundraising efforts are lagging behind those of his rival, Democratic incumbent President Joe Biden. Trump has hinted at the possibility of investing his own money into his White House bid.

It’s important to note that the proceeds from the sale of the Trump-backed Bibles will not benefit Trump’s campaign. The website clarifies that it is not political and is unrelated to any political campaign. It is licensed by CIC Ventures to use Trump’s name, likeness, and image. Trump’s 2023 financial disclosures reveal that he has earned over $5 million in speaking engagements through CIC Ventures, highlighting his continued financial activities outside the political realm.
